This was the last project I worked on in 2013.

While still working at Sapient, we decided to design a custom xmas wrapping paper for each one of our 12 countries. I got Germany, so I decided to play around with retro flavored characters and icons. Traditional wooden soldiers, xmas trees, stockings and snowmen.
And the typically german winter devil: Von Krampus.

I created a seamless pattern with all of them and added a scratch’n’sniff layer to it.
Gingerbread, cinnamon and pine tree scented of course.
The more you scratch, the more you feel inside one of those traditional Black Forest winter markets.
