In 1993, Day of the Tentacle literally changed my life.
I decided then and there that I had to become a digital designer.
I’ve been in the industry since 2002 – I am an award winning hands on creative and designer with over 12 years digital and advertising agencies experience.
Combining design, UI/UX, motion design, illustration and prototyping skills with an integrated creative background to craft well thought and engaging solutions across every platform.
As a leader, I have 6 years experience working for global agencies, inspiring teams to create innovative, world-class work and engaging campaigns.
So yeah, I pretty much do everything.
Digital is my thing. From display ads to responsive, immersive interactive campaigns, I’ve concepted it, designed it, art directed it and loved every minute of it.
Poor ideas and dull branding drive me nuts.
My love and passion is to craft well thought solutions that help businesses connect with their audience. I also have an OCD for pixel perfect design.
Clients I’ve been working for include The Guardian, Waitrose, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Guinness, TT Games, Toni and Guy, Walt Disney Interactive Studios, Nivea, Toyota and Emma Watson.
Some of the agencies and some of the clients I had the pleasure to work with.

In an age of extremely saturated communication, we’re ironically experiencing a case of reverse innovation, where the post-digital age closely resembles the pre-digital:
and while we still hear lots about the need for brands to tell their stories, storytelling is slowly but surely being replaced by brand new propositions, pieces of drama and service experiences in their own right and as such, they don’t tell a story.
They are the story.
This cultural shift is the main reason why, on the side, I’m also running 1980something, a repository of daily curated content from the 80s and the 90s, filtered by colour palette.
Anything awesome, toys, movies, TV series, video games, pop idols, wrestlers and adverts.
Strong, iconic visuals from the golden era of communication, that most people will recognise straight away: an interesting comparison with today’s disposable and short lived mainstream content.
